Hello,

I think that I have a stupid question but I still pose it... What is the difference between the virtual memory and physical memory on the SNMP memory usage for Windows?

Best regards,

Hi,

It is correct that the total of the physical memory and virtual memory from the SNMP Memory Sensor does show me the memory installed on a server? (Physical Memory + Virtual Memory = Total installed Memory)

So if i want to see the usage and total memory at one sensor, i need to use the WMI Memory Sensor (on a Windows System)?

Best regards

Hello there,

If you are interested in this metric, yes, indeed. Furthermore you can of course use the Sensor Factory Sensor to do math on these.
