Hello everyone!
Can anyone tell me what the difference between the port and HTTP sensor is?
If I use the HTTP sensor without specifying a URL, port 80 is indirectly tested, so theoretically I can make two statements with one sensor:
If the HTTP sensor is running on the device, then port 80 must be OK - is that correct?

Hi there,
An HTTP sensor checks the target site if it responds with an HTTP 200 Code. So for monitoring a web page this sensor is the way to go.
The port sensor tries to connect to the specified port number of a device and waits for the request to be accepted.
