I am trying to setup HTTP advanced sensors for a URL that returns a content type --image/png. I am setting up the Custom Content Type on the HTTP specific section as "image/png".

It does not seem to be working while testing as the sensors has an OK status even when I change the content type to pdf, text.

Sorry, but can you clarify which sensor type you are using here?

Sorry, but I do not see what you're referring to in the HTTP Advanced sensor's HTTP Specific settings.

Merlin,

OK, I understand now. Exactly what is the URL supposed to return? Is it a PNG image type?

Yes it should return content type image/png

Merlin,

I'll have to ask some of my colleagues to weigh in here in terms of content types, as I am not a subject matter expert, and I cannot seem to find any clear documentation on how you would properly put this in PRTG.

Someone should respond to this with some more information.
