Hi - I have an SNMP sensor that displays values that are sometimes different than the actual values. However, the actual value is correctly displayed on the associated graph.

Sometimes the displayed value is correct, other times it is incorrect. When it is incorrect, it is off by one. For example, the displayed value and actual value might be 12.1 (volts), yet another time it might be 13.8 displayed on the page but 12.8 actual (shown on the graph).

The best way to show this is by screenshots:

Incorrect value display (12.9 actual and graphed, 13.9 displayed): https://ibb.co/bK9gKdZ

Incorrect value display (12.7 actual and graphed, 13.7 displayed): https://ibb.co/xLmG3Y6

Correct value display (12.4 actual and graphed, 12.4 displayed): https://ibb.co/mtvzmQF

Any idea what might be going on here?

Thanks...

Dear jduncan,

this sounds a bug we recently fixed. If you are not already on PRTG 20.2.58, please update.

Thanks for the quick reply!

You are correct, I updated the server software, and tested for a couple of days to verify that the problem has been resolved.

Indeed, the update fixed the problem.

Thanks again...
