i need to get a (Post Policy Size) by snmp

i look and find a right oid but value was wrong

snmpwalk -v2c -c ABCDED X.X.X.X iso.3.6.1.4.1.9.9.166.1.15.1.1.11 iso.3.6.1.4.1.9.9.166.1.15.1.1.11.1298180580.65536 = Gauge32: 4012315000 iso.3.6.1.4.1.9.9.166.1.15.1.1.11.1298180580.131072 = Gauge32: 376176704

this value is calss-default Gauge32: 376176704 , is uncorrected because i have add prtg sensors so in port sesnor get Post Policy Size : 4300 Mbps

so why i get wrong value in snmpwalk

Hello there,

Thank you for your post.

Do I understand you correctly that the value displayed in the sensor is correct?
Is this by chance a cisco device? If so, have you tried using our SNMP Cisco CBQoS sensor?

Kind regards,

hello thanks for replay in PRTG is correct but when i try make snmp custom sensor with same OID (i take it from router)

i get uncorrected value sometime when traffic is less of 4000 Mbps the two sensor is read same value ( Qos sensor , my Custom sensor ) but when traffic is more of 4000Mbps prtg sensor is correct image.png but my my Custom sensor is uncorrected

Can you give me the math equation to get the same qos value by use Custom senros with OID

  • Note : as i said m when traffic is below of 4000Mbps ,, i get a correct value ( 10 digt value ), but when get more of 4000Mbps i get only 9 Digt (228,187,704) If you divided it by 1000000 to convert from bps to Mbps , u will not get a correct value

In order to further investigate this, we will need to get more information from the sensors, Because of this it is easier to continue in a support ticket.
