It would be great if the notifications for multiple selected sensors could be set at once (similar to edit the sensor settings for multiple selected sensors).

the multi-edit option for the settings tab only shows the properties which are shared by all selected objects. This would restrict the use for multi-editing notifications.
We agree that the setup and maintenance of notification can be quite complex. While we have no short-term solution for this, it is something we plan to address one way or another.
For now, please plan ahead when adding notifications. Usually it is a good idea to add them on a per-group or even per-probe level (instead of per-sensor level.) It is also possible to add a notification to a sensor library. This is useful to implement a trigger only for certain sensor types.

With multipe type of sensors within a device, so with different level of notification, I would push for a way to settle them by batch as well,

with the current PRTG architecture, this is not on any shorter list. Notification handling can get quite complex in larger PRTG setups. We are looking for ways to address this in the future.
