I will be using many WMI sensors and the guide suggests I do not go over 100 wmi sensors or performance will be poor on core server.
Is a remote probe free or Do I need to purchase a license for it?

Hello,
Thank you for contacting us,
The Remote Probes do not require any additional licenses. Your PRTG, either freeware or paid version, is able to have Remote Probes with the same server license. The Remote Probes are used to gather the monitoring data of target devices located in remote locations to the PRTG, so the Remote Probe will be installed locally to those devices, gather the data and send it over to the PRTG Core for processing and reporting. The Remote Probes do not process the data, they only gather it and send it over to the Core server.
