Hello,
following situation, we have a sensor monitoring workorders in Dynamics online, giving us a number of workorders back that are overdue/in error, let say as an example 5 orders.
Our team have a look at the offending workorders, and sometimes the error is caused by wrong setup, something the customer has to resolve. So our team acknowledge the alarm, so the dashboard is back no alerts etc...
Now sometime later an extra workorder gets an error.
Is there a way that if the error value changes after acknowledge....in this example from 5 to 6...that alarm is set back to red, and the mail action on down sesor is triggerd again.
Is this possible?

Hi Benny,
That has been a legit question. Please apologize that I can't provide a more satisfactory answer.

Hello Benny,
You can "unacknowledge" the alarm by biefly pausing/resuming the sensor.
- Setup a change trigger that executes a .bat file.
- In the .bat file run the PRObject.exe tool twice, once to pause the sensor and the second time to resume the sensor.
- Once resumed, the sensor will fall back to the error state sending your notification again.

Hello Benny,
Unfortunately, this is not possible. A sensor can change its status for multiple reasons to 'down'. For PRTG this is the indicator to show the sensor in red. Once you acknowledge the 'down' state, we rate thi action as acknowledgment. There is no sensor state "even more down" or "down because of another reason".
The sensor can only change its state to another state, I'm sorry.

Sebastian
