I'm trying to figure out what exactly this metric is. I have PRTG monitor net traffic from our company's router. I understand speed seems to be overall bandwidth, seeing as how this metric matches up to a bandwidth monitoring our ISP uses. As far as volume, I'm more in the dark. For example, my speed(bandwidth?) might be at 264,000kbits/s while my volume is just shy of 900,000kbits/s.
I figure this is something very simplistic, that I just can't seem to find any information on. Thanks!

Ah, that makes more sense. So if I am reading that right, the speed/tempo is basically the bandwidth, and volume is straight up just how many packets are being sent.

Speed is the currently measured "tempo" of your network packets, while volume/s is the amount of packets. They may differ as the speed may differ over time (as it won't always run on full throttle, depending on the load, protocol, overhead, etc.).
