We had a set of probes connected to a group that was part of the main probe. Wanting to ease some of the traffic, we installed remote probes, and moved the devices from the main probe to the remote probe. However after changing groups, it appears the devices are still looking at the main probe and not the remote. Is this something that can be changed? Or do the devices need to be created under the new remote probe?

To move devices then one Probe to another, you can use Drag & Drop on the Management-Tab. When devices/sensors are moved to a different probe, then they run under the new probe. They are no more linked to the old one. There's no need to create the sensors anew under the new probe.

So by right clicking the device and moving to a new group, it does not change the probe the device is associated with. Am I understanding that correctly?

Moving a device to a different probe using right-click should work as well.
