That error occurs because 1.3.6.1.2.1.15.3.1.2 is not an ID, it's the index of a table.
In case you're interested in monitoring the BGP Peers there's a custom script available under Sensor for BGP that can be used to monitor the status of BGP Peers within Cisco's bgpPeerTable at 1.3.6.1.2.1.15.3.1.2.

Hi mgross,
We already have a feature request regarding this Sensors. However, at the moment, I can't say when this Sensor will be added. I would recommend to take a look at our release notes after a new update and at our roadmap.

Hello,
thank you very much for your KB-Post. Can you try to use our SNMP Tester run it on the PRTG Host, and perform a scan with your OID against the target device? Which results do you get in the tester? Please send us the result logfile from the Tester.
best regards.
