I would like to add notification triggers on snmptraffic (interface) sensors based on additional channels not only the traffic.

We can add additional channels to sensors but there is no way to receive notifications if errors or discards or anything else other than traffic increase

For instance to be able to receive notifications if errors pass a specific threashold

Once you set a limit on a additional channel, the sensor should go into "Down" state once the set limit is reached. If you then set a "Notification Trigger" for that sensor (when sensor is "Down" for x seconds perform ...) you should receive a notification about the "Down" status and what limit was reached.

Hello,

Thanks you I am aware of that feature but I do not want the sensor to appear down. I already have that trigger and it should only occur when the port is down. Not when there are some errors or discards(or what ever counter I monitor) to the ports.

Unfortunately, there is no other option to this other then with channel limits. If it is acceptable you could set only the "Warning" limits for the channels, so that the sensor only goes into "Warning" state instead of "Down".
