User Story

As a PRTG User, I want to be able to auto-discover new disk drives.

Details of User Story

If a new disk is added to a Windows server it should be added manually to PRTG, but it might be forgotten easpcially if it is not the same person who handles PRTG.

Acceptance criteria

  • Criterion #1 Additional disks are monitored automatically when added after PRTG has been configured.

For that you can create a device template , go to the device settings, add an ''Automatic sensor creation using specific device template(s)'' thats can run every hour, week or month. I think that can help.
