Hello, I've setup change trigger notifications on a custom SNMP sensors for my APC UPS batteries. The change trigger has been setup on the notifications tab on the sensor itself. I've run a test on the group setup to receive the emails and its working properly but when the sensor's value changes we don't receive any notifications. I've checked the logs and the change trigger notification does not appear any where. The sensor did work previously but only one sensor. I have at least 60 of these sensors setup to receive change trigger notifications. I'm using the latest version of paessler.

I cannot determine why the change triggers aren't notifying us via email.

Hi there,

Not every sensor supports Change Triggers, only sensors that are able to "report changes" to PRTG are able to trigger the Change Trigger. Therefore please open the sensor settings of the SNMP Custom Sensor and enable the "If Value Changes > Trigger 'change' notification".

Helllo,

That setting is enabled on all of the SNMP sensors that I have. Configuration wise I do not see why I wouldn't receive these unless there's an issue with my PRTG installation. I have tested the notification template and it does work.

Please check the Sensor's log and check if the Change is logged and the trigger executed. Is this the case?
