Im getting the above error when i am looking at our singe PRTG Server connection when i am direct on the server, i have looked and made sure the password and username are correct.

What version of PRTG are you currently running? The issue is usually related to the PRTG Enterprise Console. Are you able to login to PRTG's web interface instead?
