I saw some asking for this feature by the past and i would also add my vote for such an interesting feature. i would like to know if it's taken into consideration which help to choose the right tool among the different competitors.

I have to further delay this feature due to lack of requests for JMX support. Other features have been asked much more often.

Actually we do sponsor JMX support development too. Please do not delay it indefinitely.

We too would like jmx support. This seems like a huge oversight and one of the things keeping us from using PRTG as our primary holistic service monitor. We are especially interested in monitoring Cassandra and SOLR.

Just want to tag onto this. I am sitting here now trying to monitor JVM and JMX, but because PRTG does provide native interface, I'm having to enable SNMP on the JVM and use and SNMP Agent for JMX.
My company creates apps in JVM/JMX...would be incredibly useful to provide native interface.

We have had JMX support on our wishlist for some time. Although your vote has been counted it is still far from being developed soon. Don't expect this feature soon.
