Note: Only to know if the PRTG uses some known database for storing all the information coming from the system and the probe. Example: MySQL, PostgreSQL, SQL Server, among others.

Hi Jonathan,

PRTG comes with its own proprietary, file-based database. Therefore, you won't need any additional database server nor any additional licenses for PRTG. The database for monitoring data is always located on the core server, for local measurements as well as for data collected by remote probes.
