We, that is, Dariusz (colleague of mine) had the same idea, and checked the plugin. Unfortunately, the code is rather complex and setting up a development envrionment for grafana is not easy as well. As of now, we unfortunatly don't have any developer resources for that. I'll see if we can create a feature request for that to see if it gains any traction among our user base :)
