Hosted Mini Probe API time frame?

Hello, we have customer who intends to rollout many Android Tablets for kiosk use. We need to be able to monitor these with our PRTG system. But I have read that Mini Probes won't work with out Paessler hosted monitoring system. Do you have a time frame for supporting Mini Probes for hosted PRTG?

I suspect that the support won't come in the near future. The Mini Probe itself is not even supported and maintained since a couple of years.
