With modern antivirus, what should be escluded for PRTG:

  • Processes
  • Folders
  • URLs
  • Behavioural analysis?

I found some very old answers, and technology has changed.

Thank you for using PRTG Product.


Adding the"PRTG Installation and Data Directory" to the exclusion list in the "Antivirus or Endpoint security" is usually sufficient.


In my case these 2 Paths :

[x]:\Program Files (x86)\PRTG Network Monitor
[x]:\ProgramData\Paessler\PRTG Network Monitor
