I have tried the "Windows Network Card" sensor, but it neither detects cable disconnection nor physically removing the network adaptor from the computer. I used a USB to NIC adaptor and unplugged it from the computer, expecting the sensor to change state from UP to DOWN.
Does anyone know what conditions will trigger a change in state?

Hello,
Please note that the Windows Network Card sensors cannot detect the connection status of network interfaces.
In such cases, we recommend monitoring via SNMP instead, You can utilize the SNMP Traffic Sensor, which allows you to configure the "Connection Status Handling" in the sensor's settings.
If you have further questions, feel free to let us know.
