our security department has identified issues with Oracles JDK licensing. it appears that our install is running Oracle’s JDK/RTE.
If so, do the applications leveraging Java have license agreements with Oracle that covers the subscription and is this something we have to keep up.
If not, can those applications use an OpenJDK (e.g., AdoptOpenJDK, Red Hat, Amazon Corretto)? If so, what will it take to move to that OpenJDK by EOY.

Hi, is the statement
"PRTG has no dependencies on Java and does not require Java. There is also no "embedded" JVM in any form in PRTG."
still valid?

Hello,
Thank you for your response.
PRTG has no dependencies on Java and does not require Java. There is also no "embedded" JVM in any form in PRTG.
PRTG only requires an installed .NET Framework version 4.7.2 or higher for some sensors.
Please see our System Requirements for more information.
