I've read what I can find on this, and I'm still not sure how to resolve. Was working with IE, but filling the disk with JS files. I don't believe the sites being probed are TLS 1.2 only, but not sure how to tell either.

If the sites are public, you can use suites like ssllabs.com to see which TLS version is supported.
In regards to the created .js files, do you run any AV scanners on the probe host which might interfer here and decline the deletion of the temp files?
