Is it possible to send a notification when a particular syslog message is received on the sensor that contains a particular message string?

Thank you very much for your KB-posting.
Using the Warning- and Error-filters in the sensor settings, you can force the sensor to WARNING or DOWN state if the sensor receives a specific Syslog message.
However, it is not possible to forward this particular message or any parts of it within a notification.
The only thing which can be forwarded is a summary of the last 20 messages by using the placeholder %syslogmessages
