Consider adding a deeper level of logic that would allow a user/group a more limited access. Example:
- Joe, the department manager needs to be able to pause devices. He knows there is going to be a power outage overnight.
- Joe also knows that a vendor is coming on-site next Monday to do preventative maintenance. Let Joe setup a one-time maintenance window.
- Joe should not be able to otherwise alter the device tree.
This example is a realistic example of a co-managed environment where both IT and end-users share in the monitoring effort. This concept applies to all industries.

Hello Steve
Thanks for the suggestion. We are always looking for ways to improve our software.
Access rights are usually designed to allow/deny control or visibility to the users inside a group.
we can understand that designing a high level of security could also restrict the customization of such groups in other areas like temporal access rights.
We currently don't have temporal access to a particular user. You could add and remove this user accordingly when needed
Unfortunately, we don't have this in an automatic fashion, but please feel free to request this here
