Hi
I notice there is an SNMP Printer sensor which works with HP and Kyocera printers but not Zebra label printers such as the GK420D, ZT421 etc.
Has anyone done any work on creating a custom sensor to monitor such things as lid open/closed, printer paused and other potential error messages?

Hi Matt,
Please check if the vendor of your device offers any MIB files that you can import with our MIB-Importer.
If so, you can monitor the target with the SNMP Library Sensor.
Here's a Knowledge Base Article that describes the setup of "SNMP Library Sensors": https://helpdesk.paessler.com/en/support/solutions/articles/76000041743
and there's also a video that shows how to: https://www.paessler.com/support/videos/prtg-advanced/snmp-custom-and-library-sensor
