Local windows server login

I have a windows server not joined to the domain and I'm having issues setting up the windows credentials. I've tried the IP address of the server x.x.x.x\localusername and servername\localusername but no luck. Can PRTG connect to a non-domain joined system?

yes, if you enter the workgroup instead of domain name, the Windows sensors should be able to connect. Does it work this way?
