Cisco IOS version

We are looking to pull the "Show Version" information from the Cisco IOS devices. This would be an excellent feature because ALL engineers that use Cisco products need this information for compliance for their SMartnet maintenance contracts. This feature is a once installed they will not leave the product... its too critical and the only way to do it for most of use, is with a spreadsheet.
