Hello,
New to PRTG and working with a company who has had it for a while. While I understand dependencies with sensors, it seems that this feature is just to shutdown sensors downstream in the case of an outage. What if I have a primary and secondary connection and want to pause a sensor UNTIL a dependent is down? i.e. have my secondary sensor on pause and look for the primary to go down. Thanks!

Hello,
multiple dependencies cannot be set. You have an option though: Create a factory sensor with a manual status formula. Then use this sensor as master for a device group.
The source sensors of the ones used in the factory should be in a different part of the device tree to avoid indefinite pausing.
