Hello
At the moment by snmp traffic sensor we can only notice that a port is disconnected and its exact status is not shown including the admin down or etc...
Is there a way to monitor and understand the type of problem?

Thanks for your KB post. Our SNMP Traffic Sensor supports the handling of status results. Please go to the sensor's setting and set it accordingly under 'Connection Status Handling' section.

What we need is that if the port is "admin down", first of all, it should give us an alarm, and secondly, it should be clear in the port status message that it is "admin down", not just show that it is disconnected.

Hi Hossein,

The sensor will go to a down state when it's admin down if you set it accordingly under the 'Connection Status Handling' section.

However, the SNMP Traffic sensor will not show 'admin down'. There is no option to customise the sensor status.
