Hi Paessler,

We have several PRTG user accounts created through AD Group Integration and everytime someone leaves the company and the AD user is deactivated, we need to go in PRTG and delete the user account manually.

Is there any automated way to have those accounts cleaned in PRTG?

We are thinking on creating a powershell that will get the PRTG active lists from /config_report_users.htm or some other places that you recommend and check whether their are still valid in AD, and if not, delete them using the API (/api/deleteobject.htm?id=objectid&approve=1). Do you have something similar out there?

Thanks, Magno

Hi there,

At the moment there is no automatic way to remove old accounts. PRTG only synchronizes with the Active Directory when the AD User tries to login the PRTG interface.

Kind regards
