I am currently running PTRG v22.1.75.1594+. The last 2 times AutoUpdate has checked, I have gotten the message "The downloaded file is not a valid installer." I get the same message if I click the 'Check For Latest Update and Download' button.

I have reviewed the kb and my firewall is allowing all the correct domains.
Additionally, I downloaded the update manually and when I installed it the PRTG Core Service would not start. I had to uninstall and reinstall the older version 22.1.75.1594 to get PRTG to run again.
Is there a problem with 22.2.76.1705 and Windows Server 2019?

Hello,
There is a known issue with systems, that don't have up to date SSL root certificates and the current version.
Please read up about it here: https://helpdesk.paessler.com/en/support/solutions/articles/90610-after-updating-to-prtg-22-2-76-the-prtg-core-server-does-not-start-anymore-what-can-i-do

Hello,
If the auto update download doesn't work, this can happen if your firewall or UTM is blocking the download, you can download it manually from our download server:
https://downloads.paessler.com/prtg/prtg.zip
If you want to ensure that your network security solution isn't blocking the download please ensure that the domains mentioned in our KB article (KB: Which Servers does PRTG connect to for Software Update) are allowed and whitelist if necessary.
