I work in highly firewalled environment and have not ability to access PRTG server or PRTG logs as it is managed by different department. I think it is pretty common setting in corporate world. When I try to create sensors and they sometimes does not work , but cannot tell whether routes are right, ports are open , and DNS resolved correctly etc. It would be nice if prtg users who can edit sensors could run some basic network diagnostics on PRTG server/probe via GUI - like ping, traceroute, port check, nslookup/dig, snmpget, snmpwalk( may be ssh) etc. Of course I can create sensors and figure it out somehow, but this process is slow and unproductive. I think this is also not very difficult feature to add, but would be very useful.
