in my PRTG Desktop Client the core Server is always expanded automatically. Is there any way to disable this?

Regarding the behavior you mentioned, it looks like the modification of the display is not taken into account. If you follow the steps below, do you still have the device expanded ? Do you have the latest version available (22.2.0) ?

  • Minimize the PRTG Core Server device
  • Change your focus to the local probe (click on it)
  • Open an other menu (libraries, sensors, etc.)
  • Come back to the device tree (the device should still be minimized)
  • Restart the Desktop client

HI, if I follow your steps and go back to the devices tab the Core Server is expanded again.

My apologizes for the delay. Can you please open a case from the PRTG Desktop client under Help > Contact Support so we can have a look at the client log files.

A new version has been released recently (22.3.0), please make sure to install it and then reproduce the issue before sending the bundle.
