Hi, I'm trying to convert our PRTG installation to a Cluster setup, but I'm having troubles with the remote probes.

We have a public DNS entry, to which we point both our web interface and our remote probes.

As of now, the remote probes connect through a Firewall NAT rule, and obviously I can point the TCP 23560 only to the master node. How can I set up the remote probe to send correctly the data also to the failover node?

Unfortunately, I don't have a direct connection between the PRTG Core and the remote probes, I'm forced to use a NAT through the Firewall.

Thank you Gianluca

Hello,

Please check the Administrative Probe Settings and make sure that "Remote probe sends data to all cluster nodes" is selected. The remote probe then connects to all cluster nodes and sends monitoring data to the failover node in addition to the primary master node. For this to work, the remote probe needs to be able to reach both cluster nodes at TCP port 23560.
