I would like to give a select client the ability to see a few monitors. I figured that out, however, when they're logged in they can still access the LOGS and REPORTS menus. I would like to disable that so those menus do not show up for this limited user... How do I do this?

This is not possible. You can try to customize the web interface, but I don't know whether this is possible. You can use this manual as help:
