Just want some advice before starting the below.
Currently running 9.2.0.2125 on server 2003. I wish to upgrade the OS to 2008r2 x64. This will also involve moving the server to a new domain.
Can you tell me the steps I need to complete to save off my install and then restore back to the new server once its built.
I realise I will not have monitoring for the duration of the upgrade.
Thanks, Andy

Just to check specifically because that article doesn’t deal with moving from a server 2003 x32 platform to a server 2008r2 x64 platform. Is it still 100% valid?
Thanks, Andy

Dear Andrew, the article is valid. The data-paths of PRTG will be a bit different on 2008 as on 2003, but that is why the article refers to finding these paths with the PRTG Server Administrator - Tool which gives you the correct one.

Hello,
please see: How can I move or migrate my PRTG installation to a different system or server?. This applies as well when moving between domains. You only may need to re-check the Credentials For Windows Monitoring (WMI) on the devices/sensors afterwards again in PRTG.
best regards.
