I read in the PRTG Manual that it is recommended to restart the PRTG Core and Probe services once a month.
1) During the restart of both Core and Probe, will there be any false alerts due to the Probe sensor being down?
2) Do Remote Probes need to be restarted and does the scheduled restart setting apply to Remote Probes?
3) During the restart, will there be any spike in resources usage by PRTG?
4) If Remote Probe is restarted, will it cause any false alarm for the Remote Probe status?
5) What is the impact if the Core and Probe services are not restarted once a month?
Thank you very much.

Hello,
Thanks for contacting us.
You have the option to create schedules when performing changes to the servers to avoid receiving notifications. Here's how: https://https://helpdesk.paessler.com/en/support/solutions/articles/76000064550
In regards to the resources the expected scenario is not to see any spike in any way and these are just best practices to make sure the performance on the servers are good.
Hope this helps.
