Hi all, i am trying to put together a device template for our Ricoh printers, we are a Ricoh house and as such need to be able to monitor these properly.
I have started out getting the MIBs i need but then i am stuck knowing what value is what, for example. If i run this MIB 1.3.6.1.2.1.25.3.2.1.5.1 i get a value of.

05/02/2022 14:59:21 (195 ms) : Value: 5
05/02/2022 14:59:21 (209 ms) : Done

i have been searching as much a i can but cannot see what these values mean. obviously there are other things like 1.3.6.1.4.1.367.3.2.1.2.24.1.1.5.1 which is toner level and then if i can interpret any fault codes that come in too. There is sensor in PRTG but this is limited.
I have found a couple of templates for Zabbix which i was able to get some info from, but again this was limited.
Once i get my head round this then its on to switches and wireless. Can anyone help or shed some light on getting this done.

Thank you all

Hello,

In general the vendor of your device (in this case Ricoh) should be able to give you the OIDs you need for specific values. We can also recommend using the site https://www.circitor.fr/. According to this site and MIB "HOST-RESOURCES-MIB", OID "1.3.6.1.2.1.25.3.2.1.5" returns the Device Status. Value 5 means "down".
