Hello Eko,

please clarify, what do you want to replicate exactly?

I want to replicate all sensor in existing probe to create DR (Disaster recovery)

Hello,

failover for probes are not implemented in PRTG. However, disaster recovery is still possible, as the sensor configuration and historic data is stored on the core server (not on the probe computer).

If a remote probe is gone, just add a new probe. Confirm it in PRTG and move all device objects (except for the probe device itself, which is fixed) to the newly added probe.

It is important to do backups of the PRTG core server: Description of PRTG backup.

hii

Thank you for reply.

How about failover cluster? Is it possible to make DR?

Hello,

PRTG does support clustering for the core server which then operates a cluster probe. It is always running as active / active.
