I have a shared (privileged and non-privileged users) lab server that is running all the PRTG services. For the PRTG Network Monitor web interface, I have the logins integrated into Windows Active Directory with "Admin" and "read-only" users.
However, the PRTG Enterprise Console retains the user credentials in the "PRTG Server Connectons" definitions. Is it possible to require login (not save password). Regardless if this is a shared server, or it follows better practices and the access was more appropriately separated out, the fact that a privileged application account is REQUIRED to be saved seems to be serious deficiency.
I suppose I can lock down the .EXE with NTFS permission, but is there a better way to do this?

Hello there,
Thanks for your inquiry, we appreciate your contact regarding the matter!
A required login is not possible with the Enterprise Console. We have very few inquiries in this direction. Therefore, there will probably be no changes in the near future. If there are frequent requests for this, we will take a closer look at it.
The following article describes how we handle feature requests: https://helpdesk.paessler.com/en/support/solutions/articles/33873-how-does-paessler-handle-user-feedback-and-feature-requests
I would recommend to use the web interface here.
