Can we use PRTG as asset management ?

Hello

We would like rouse PRTG to show and store devices serial number , IP address , MAC address , what configuration on that device and licenses installed

The idea to use this report as centralized asset management and configuration changes control

Hello there,

To some extent you find those details on a device's "System Information" tab in PRTG, but no details like licenses and alike. PRTG's focus is on monitoring networks, for software asset management there are other solutions that cover this way better, since they're specialized in it. Please also find here more about PRTG's System Information feature.
