I would like to create a custom gauge mapobject that would display the name of the device along with the the probe type and status, what is the variable for the device (server) name and where do I add it in the object script?

thank you so much for the quick reply but I have already went through this article.

I have attempted to edit the "Gauges device small" file, but there are no spans in the file. Also, I was not able to find what are the reference variables in order to use them. If you would help with that, I would be really grateful.

Hi there,

Unfortunately, there is no way to customize the gauge object as they are created internally via an plugin of the maps. Therefore it is not possible to change the appearance.
