I am monitoring Clearswift (SEG). In the applicance, you can try with a "test trap", after a few hours I got it working. I'm trying now to generate an error with this "test trap". I added the "sensor trap receiver" within Local Probe > my device (as I cannot add the sensor within Cluster prob). And I only selected the strict necessery alarm included in Clearswift. So my include filter is "any".
Traps messages are Bindings: "SNMPv2-SMI::enterprises.16435.1.1.3 = Alarm Raised: Test event raised by Clearswift SECURE Email Gateway" and
GemTrap: 6
According to the doc I tried to entered as an error filter
gentrap[6] or bindings[SNMPv2-SMI::enterprises.16435.1.1.3 = Alarm Raised: Test event raised by Clearswift SECURE Email Gateway] or bindings[Test event]
But none display any error on the overview tab. I want to setup a notification if only there is an error.
Any help would be much appreciated Thank you
Yann

Actually I need to use bindings[] because gentrap[] always display the same number for every traps.
"Upper Error Limit (#/s)" => Does it mean message per second? In my case, with this device, I'll only have a few by month.
When I run a "test event", it quickly appears under the "Trap messages" title which is good. I then expecting that counter move as well, but that is not the case.
I want the error couter displays the number of error, error which are not resolved, and then I'll set notification.
I'll open a ticket.
Thank you.
