Greetings to all. I am a beginner in the world on network monitoring. I have a question. I have installed paeesler and it has discovered my local netowrk. In the one host i have downloaded the text file from eicar that is being recognised as a virus. How can i get an email alert when a virus is founded in one of the clients in my local network?

Thank you for the KB-Post. While PRTG is great in standard bandwidth and uptime / availability monitoring of various target systems and services, it's not specialised at security aspects and the monitoring of this.
The scenario you're describing should be covered by standard enterprise Antivirus solutions, which do show in their admin-console if any client had any errors or warnings in regards to virus detections.
