Hi,

I need help to get PRTG to calculate the "Free bytes" to "Free GB" on VMware Datastores. I know that a Factory Sensor should be able to accomplish this. However this i NOT an option because I have +150 datastores and dont need that level of custom PRTG configuration.

When my operator on duty receives an alarm at 04:27 AM, I want an instant message about free GB on the specific datastore. I dont need the operator to manually calculate how much 200789721088 bytes is in GB.

A custom sensor instead of the native could be a possibility.

Hi there,

Please open the sensor settings of the Datastore sensor and check the inherited "CHANNEL UNIT CONFIGURATION"-option which should enable you to choose another unit for the the channel.
