How can I monitor my cameras with prtg ?

This depends on if the cameras have SNMP support or any kind of REST API or HTTP API you can poll them for information with.
If they do, then you can make API calls to them for any kind of data you would like to monitor. This could be frame rate, positioning (if they are PTZ), motion detection, etc...
If not, you can atleast ping them as long as they are IP based. If they have their own web GUI, you can use the HTTP sensor to ensure the web GUI is working. In most cases this is sufficient for our customers to ensure the camera is online on the network and accessible.
