I have around 80 ESXi hosts that I have added into PRTG.. I have the "host performance" sensor on all of them.. I want to be alerted when CPU or Memory usage % goes over 80%..
What is the easiest way to accomplish this and can it be made so any new host added going forward will already get those thresholds to alert on?
Thanks

Appreciate the reply.. Here's the issue I am having.. If I search for "esxserverhostsensor" and then select all my hosts, I don't have all the channel options.. Trying to figure out why that is, I think I see the issue..
Some of my hosts have a channel named "Memory consumed (Percent)" with an ID of 10.. Other hosts have that same channel name but with an ID of 9... So, when I select all 78 sensors for the "[Host Performance]", click the checkbox to edit, it only shows the channels that are common to every sensor selected.. Which is just "Downtime (ID -4)" and "CPU usage (ID 2)"..
So, this isn't going to work..
Any ideas on how to address?

Yes, your assumption is correct, multi-editing channels only for works for channels the selected sensors have in common. For the existing sensors I'm afraid there is no other way then than to edit the limits manually.

Hello there,
You need to enable and configure the desired limits inside those channels.
You can also do this for several sensors at once using Multi-Edit.
In order to have such limits by default in place, you can create a device template that you can use then when adding further sensors by using Auto-Discovery with this template then.
