Big trafic after install PRTG 1000 sensor

Hi support Prtg,

Trafic recorded from our firewall 153.3GB. From segment (PRTG) had installed. Would you like to advise how to reduce big trafic or how to best practice for install prtg

Hi there,

We are currently unsure how PRTG should be able to generate that amount of traffic with simple network requests. Please check if the server is downloading windows updates or other updates which could explain this amount of traffic.

If not, how much sensors are you currently using? Which scanning interval are you using? For how long was the traffic recorded which sums up to "153.3 GB" (a year)?
