Is it possible to adjust prtg to accept snmp v3 passwords less than 8 characters?
I receive following error:
Error in authentication password (at least 8 chars) (SNMP error # -2009)
Thanks

Hello there,
thank you for your reply.
The SNMP error -2009 translates as:
The RFC-2574 from April 1999 defines:
11.2 Defining Users
| SNMP implementations (and SNMP configuration applications) must ensure that passwords are at least 8 characters in length. |
While there's no constrain/validation for this field in PRTG, you will encounter issues. Please set a longer password on your device and adjust the password in PRTG.
